Blasters Trucking Solution Hubs (BtSh) — Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice describes how BtSh collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information across our website, dashboards (Admin, Shipper, Dispatcher, Carrier, Driver), and related services (“Platform”).

Key point: BtSh uses minimal automation. Most actions are initiated by users (posting, assigning, accepting, status updates). We log certain actions to keep the platform accountable, prevent abuse, and support dispute resolution.

1. Scope

This Notice applies to personal information processed by BtSh when you access or use the Platform. “Personal information” means information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to an individual.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information: name, email, phone, role (shipper/dispatcher/carrier/driver/admin), login credentials (hashed).
  • Operational information: load details, pickup/dropoff, contacts, timestamps, trip status updates, proof-of-delivery references.
  • Vehicle & identity records (where required): business details, identification numbers, vehicle details, verification status.
  • Technical logs: IP address, user-agent, device/session identifiers, and event logs for security and audit trails.
  • Communications: support tickets, emails sent for password reset, platform notifications, and admin communications.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data unless needed for compliance or verification, and only where lawful.

3. How we use information

  • Provide and operate the Platform (accounts, dashboards, load coordination, records).
  • Secure the Platform (fraud prevention, abuse prevention, access control, monitoring).
  • Support operations (verification, dispute support, audits, customer support).
  • Send essential messages (password reset links, service notices, security alerts).
  • Improve reliability (bug fixing, performance monitoring, feature tuning).

Because BtSh uses minimal automation, operational accuracy depends on user inputs. We maintain logs to protect the platform and to support fairness in disputes.

4. Sharing & disclosures

We may share information:

  • Between parties as needed to execute a trip (e.g., shipper contact shown to carrier/driver for pickup).
  • With service providers who support infrastructure (hosting, logs, email delivery) under confidentiality.
  • For legal reasons where required by law, lawful requests, or to prevent harm/fraud.
  • With consent where you explicitly authorize sharing.

We do not sell personal information. We share only what is reasonably necessary for operations and security.

Financial & operational data

BtSh collects and processes operational and financial records including load history, commission records, escrow logs, transaction timestamps, IP addresses, and device metadata.

Such data is used for:

  • Fraud prevention
  • Tax compliance
  • Dispute resolution
  • Platform security

Regulatory compliance disclosure

BtSh may disclose information to lawful authorities where required by court order, tax law, anti-money laundering laws, or government investigation.

Data retention

Transactional and financial records may be retained for a minimum period required by Nigerian tax law and anti-money laundering regulations.

5. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards including access control, credential hashing, session controls, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure; you must also protect your credentials and use strong passwords.

6. Retention

We retain data as long as needed for platform operations, dispute handling, compliance, and legitimate business purposes. Some logs may be retained longer for fraud prevention and audit requirements.

7. Your choices & rights

  • Access and update profile information where available in your dashboard.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion subject to legal/compliance retention requirements.
  • Opt out of non-essential messages (where applicable) — but we will still send security and operational emails.

8. Cross-border transfers

Your data may be processed on infrastructure outside your country depending on hosting providers. We take steps to ensure reasonable protection.

9. Children

BtSh is not intended for children. Do not use the Platform if you are not legally permitted to do so.
